City Council Election – Now Accepting Applications

Interested residents are encouraged to consider serving their community by running for City Council.

Qualifications to Serve on the Granite Shoals City Council
To be eligible to run for City Council, a candidate must generally meet the following qualifications:
- Be a registered voter in the City of Granite Shoals
- Have resided in the City of Granite Shoals for 12 months prior to filing
- Be willing and able to attend regular City Council meetings, workshops, and special meetings as needed
- Be committed to serving the public interest, upholding city ordinances, and complying with applicable laws and ethical standards
