Zoning Adjustments (Variance Request)
The Board of Adjustments Commission (BOA) considers applications for variances from the Zoning Ordinance for those rare cases when the Zoning Ordinance cannot be fairly applied to a piece of property due to special circumstances or features of the property.
If you wish to apply for a variance, please contact the Building and Development Department for guidance. The Application for Hearing (PDF) by the Board of Adjustments must be filled out completely with receipt of payment attached before a hearing with the BOA will be scheduled.
Rezoning
For large projects or commercial ventures, there may be a need to rezone a property. Please contact the City Manager.
