CRASH REPORTS
Police Crash Reports will no longer be provided from the city. If an individual is involved in a motor vehicle accident and is requesting a copy of the crash report, they must go to the DPS website. This includes insurance companies and attorneys.

Granite Shoals Police Department
The City of Granite Shoals is served by a highly trained, professional police force whose officers are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all of those who live, visit, and work within the City of Granite Shoals. Our department is committed to working with the citizens of Granite Shoals to enhance the safety of the community and provide an exceptional level of service to our citizens.
The Police Department consists of the Chief of Police, one Captain assigned to patrol, administrative and criminal investigations duties, two Patrol Sergeants, 10 Patrol Officers, one Criminal Investigator, and one Environmental Crimes Investigator. The police department provides high-visibility patrol of the City of Granite Shoals, responds to calls for service, enforces traffic laws, investigates crime, and monitors registered sex offenders among other duties and responsibilities. The department also conducts high-visibility patrol and enforcement activities on Lake LBJ during peak spring and summer months. The Police Department is also responsible for Animal Control and Code Compliance in the City of Granite Shoals. Animal Control is staffed by one full-time Animal Control Officer. Code Compliance is staffed by one full-time Code Compliance Officer.
The police department is located at 410 N. Phillip’s Ranch Rd. While the police department provides 24-hour service and patrol, the station does not provide 24-hour lobby service. For emergency police and fire assistance, dial 9-1-1 24 hours a day. For non-emergency police assistance, please contact our dispatch at 806-304-4260.
