As a service to our citizens, the Granite Shoals Police Department offers Close Patrols / Security Checks of residences and businesses within the city limits. Close Patrols may be requested for any reason including the owner / resident going out of town, suspicious activity in the area, and any other reason. When a location is listed registered for a Close Patrol, police officers will check on the location a minimum of twice per day for up to two weeks.
